Is Madonna A Kabbalah Witch?
Philip Berg , the Kabbalah King of the Los Angeles based Kabbalah Centre must have been praying hard in 2007. He may have also offered up human sacrifices of non-believers to his self-styled Kabbalah gods. Madonna, the face-lifted public face of the celebrity Kabbalah movement has put forth some serious “Kabbalah Dollars’ to the group. In 2007 she gave $2,626,529 to the Kabbalah Center itself and another $4,025 to the group’s offshoot, Spirituality for Kids. In exchange she appears to have been “Kabbalahcized” with the ability to cast a spell over millions convincing the masses that she actually has talent. Her Kabbalah witching skills have apparently also worked wonders for her as she enters the Cougar phase of her newly single life . Having recently turned 50, she has successfully been able Kabbalahcize 33 year old New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez, leading him around by her magical red string Kabbalah beads. All Cougars out there take notice. Maybe a Kabbalah trance is just the thing to reel in that 30 something stud.
The whole thing has become a joke in terms of what Kabbalah really is and what celebrities such as Madonna, Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and Demi Moore have at one time or another turned it into for their own fashion purposes. It is sad that the general public only sees the celebrity Kabbalahcized practice by these “Kabbalah quacks” under the Scientolic like gaze of Philip Berg and the Los Angeles based Kabbalah Centre. People are left with the impression that Kabbalah is a Hollywood nuevo wave self-help celebrity indulgence resembling Scientology. The “real” Kabbalah is an ancient Jewish practice dating back to the 6th Century bearing little resemblance to the cult like practices of Berg and his followers.
Rabbi Zvi Drizin of the Dallas Chabad had this to say:
“One of the main teachings of Kaballah is the beauty of the inner feminine mystique, something Madonna has clearly NOT mastered.”
In an article published on the Religion News Blog Rabbi Byron Sherwin, who teaches at the Spertus Institute of Jewish Studies and has studied Kabbalah for 35 years, says Kabbalah in the Jewish tradition is esoteric and advanced and requires advance knowledge of the Bible, Talmud, Jewish law and philosophy. Without those as a base, Kabbalah gets distorted.
It is also of interest to note that none of these “Kabbalah Celebs” have converted to Judaism. They apparently want the fast food Hollywood drive though Kabbalahcized version of instant inner peace. In the not to distance future we will see KABBALAHCIZE IT! franchise locations popping up all over the country. You will be free to choose from a wide variety of inner peace menu items red string beads included. Each menu selection includes the cost of the beads with the balance going to Berg and the Kabbalah Center. L. Ron Hubbard has nothing on these guys.

Since the ancient times, people have used amulets to bring good luck and protect themselves from evil. Among the common items that can serve as amulets are stones, gems and pendants among other objects which are believed to have magical powers.
