WRONNNNNNNNNG!!. when u get closer to the Modem it will be faster… And xD wth?? like 10 sec to open a website?! omg mine opens a website in less than 5 secondes
This test isn’t a “real world” test at all and misrepresents actual abilities. I would have expected far more from CNET Asia!Point 1: The internet page test is “different carriers”. Carriers provide totally different bandwidths. Just on EDGE I can swap between our 2 main Carriers and the difference is huge. 62kbps on one and 135kbps on the other, that’s faster than some 3G services! The only way to perform this test is with the same carrier.
Point 2: The Pre took a photo of a light! The file size, being a photo of very little color or detail, is going to be far smaller than a photo of someone. Then there’s image size limits that can be specified, what were these on both devices at the time? Again using my iPhone 2G it takes 18 seconds for the entire process, on EDGE!Lastly the time taken from taking the photo through to sending it was one third of the time on the 3GS compared to the Pre, iPhones far more intuitive interface
Iphone is faster but at&nt is not. The pre Can’t be that good because of lack of thinking power the phone has and lack of apps. but Yeah I wish I could go to verizon with my Iphone but its worth having a iphone over verizon.
i just got that 32 gb s model and its kick ass. i used to hate apple.
holy crap the pre is SLOW
