Are perception or thought, behavior, and environment related? Does good perception or thought improve behavior, improving environment? Does bad perception or thought worsen behavior, worsening environment? Or is there a complete disconnect between these variables?

Perception Affects Behavior

Success, which is something so simple in the end, is made up of thousands of things, we never fully know what.

- Rainer Maria Rilke

Success is simple; it is also complex. It is simple, in that success consists of accomplishing your goal. It is complex, in that there are thousands of things you must do along the way to goal accomplishment. If you view success as simple, you persist confidently. If you view success as complex, you hesitate alarmingly. The former leads to accomplishment, the latter to procrastination. Therefore the trick to getting anything done is to view it as easy rather than difficult. Viewing affects doing; perception affects behavior.

Behavior Affects Environment

Karma basically means that in doing good things, good things will come to you; and in doing bad things, bad things will come to you. Karma generally applies to all human behavior. Karma is the environmental result of your behavior.

Some examples of bad karma are if you disrespect others, others will disrespect you; if you murder others, others will murder you; if you cheat others, others will cheat you; if you steal from others, others will steal from you; if you deceive others, others will deceive you.

Revenge, though not a virtue, is part of human nature. People naturally anger at injustices done to them. In serious criminal acts, the justice system attempts to punish the perpetrator by matching the punishment to the crime. For example, a murderer receives death (execution) or the death of his time (life in prison). Also, a court-ordered fine takes a thief’s property or imprisonment takes his time.

Some examples of good karma are if you respect others, others will respect you; if you help others, others will help you; if you are honest with others, others will be honest with you; if you give to others, others will give to you; if you are loyal to others, others will be loyal to you.

Gratitude is part of human nature. People naturally feel grateful for favors bestowed upon them, and seek to repay the favors. For example, a neighbor would be more apt to give you food and shelter, if you gave the neighbor food and shelter in the past. Also, a coworker would be more apt to give you a loan, if you gave the coworker a loan in the past.

Oftentimes, evil deeds get rewarded and good deeds get punished in the short run; and evil deeds get punished and good deeds get rewarded in the long run. For example, a dishonest bank robber is richer than an honest banker in the short run. But in the long run, the honest banker is richer than the imprisoned bank robber. Indeed, positive behavior eventually leads to positive environment; negative behavior eventually leads to negative environment.

Thought Affects Behavior, Affecting Environment

Nature gave men two ends – one to sit on, and one to think with. Ever since then man’s success or failure has been dependent on the one he used most.

- George R. Kirkpatrick

Action equals success; inaction equals failure. Action or inaction begins in thought, working its way to behavior, ending in environmental success or failure. Actively thinking about accomplishing your goal generates ideas on this. You may make many wrong turns on the road to your goal; but if you keep driving, you will get there. Oftentimes, trial and error teach best, especially if there is no road map to guide you. In contrast, inactive thinking generates nothing. You are parked, going nowhere. Trial and error play no role, since you never begin driving.

Sitting on your rear brings failure near; thinking with your brain brings successful gain.

Behavior & Environment Affect Thought

According to physics, the interaction of mass and velocity produces kinetic energy. Changing mass or velocity changes kinetic energy. Changing Mass: A car hitting you at 50 miles/hour will do more physical damage to you than a housefly at the same speed, because the former has more kinetic energy than the latter. Changing Velocity: A car hitting you at 50 miles/hour will do more physical damage to you than the same car at 5 miles/hour, because the former has more kinetic energy than the latter.

Likewise, the interaction of environment and behavior produces thought energy. Changing your environment or behavior changes your thought energy. Changing Environment: Living in a slum will thoughtfully depress you more than living in luxury. Changing Behavior: Resting away aimlessly will thoughtfully depress you more than striving toward a goal.

Hence, the interaction of luxury and goal striving produces heightened thought energy.

In summarizing, we see that perception or thought affects behavior, affecting environment – and that behavior and environment affect thought. All of these variables make up a universal reality; each of these variables makes up a particular reality.

Environment conservation is a priority for all of us. We have now realized the urgency of keeping the environment free from harmful emissions and chemical interactions. Anything that disturbs the ecological balance and pollutes the environment is hazardous and should be avoided or at least minimized to a great extent. The production and usage of various commodities should comply with eco friendly standards. This has given rise to the term “environment friendly” that essentially refers to the processes, products and services that cause minimum harm to the environment.

Printing is one such process that produces harmful wastes leading to environmental pollution. The use of petroleum inks, varnishes, laminates and adhesives leads to the production of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The release of VOCs in the atmosphere has adverse environmental effects. This not only pollutes the air but also leads to respiratory ailments.

To save the environment, publishing houses should print green i.e. the printing process/ technology should be eco-friendly. Printers should comply with environment friendly rules and regulations to check the VOC release. The printing industry uses the natural resources in a major way. To control this heavy use of natural resources and save the environment, a new kind of printing process have made way into the printing industry. They are called green printers. Such printing houses use environment friendly processes and rely on recycled paper rather than non-recycled ones. Use of recycled paper does a lot of good to the environment by saving trees that would otherwise be cut to produce paper. Apart from this, recycled papers leads to energy saving and reduced release of air pollutants. Green printing houses source the paper from well managed forests that comply with strict environmental standards. The printing process is planned carefully to achieve optimum output by minimal usage of energy. The papers are sourced only from FSC (Forest stewardship companies) certified companies.

Green printing is a responsible and specialized job and thus it is offered by only a handful of printing presses. Green printers comply with all the environment friendly standards offering optimum production at minimal environmental damage.

A cleaning environment is one where the pollution of the past is remediated and cleaned with time to remove existing historic risk to the environment and public health. A cleaning environment implies a return of the natural endemic local ecology, and is an ideal to strive for.

We need to create a cleaning environment if our marvels of science and technology are going to be matched, and not outweighed, by many current tragedies, including human starvation in some parts of the world and extinction of other life forms. Global warming is taking place and is an increase in the Earth’s average temperature. This, in turn, causes climate changes. Global warming also could cause droughts and disrupt agriculture.

A cleaning environment means not despoiling the remaining parts of the world which are still undeveloped. Globally, indigenous people inhabit areas with some of the highest remaining biodiversity on the planet and are actively being engaged as partners in biodiversity conservation. Issues of sustainable development, resource management and ecological restoration all include native stakeholders. Global harmony is possible, yet confrontations take place more often than meaningful dialogues for peace. Our science and technology has done much good, but if we are not careful its unimagined polluting effects will be matched, if not outweighed, by the many, including depletion of resources which is destroying the possibility for people to bring up children in a clean environment.

In some parts of the world extinction of other life-forms is growing apace. It is ironic that exploration of outer space will now only take place at the same time the earth’s own oceans, seas, and freshwater areas while they grow increasingly polluted and their life-forms are still largely unknown and where known are probably misunderstood.

However, it is not impossible to return to a green and clean environment. Obama will soon take over the Presidency and clearly intends to take very positive action. .The world became weary that would ever Bush rein in the polluters and close the so-called grandfather loophole as the air in Texas becomes ever smoggier. Never forget though that Bush may have had his arm twisted, but he did concede that humans are causing climate change. It may have taken many a sleepless night in Bali, but his representatives did agree to draw up a post-Kyoto treaty by 2009.

In the US the general public are beginning to take on-board their profligate use of energy. Just look at recent statistics in the US for big car sales. SUV sales are down by 50%, car sales are down 50%, but small, fuel efficient cars, hybrid cars, diesel cars are up 40%.

So here we can start to shift our thinking. The US may soon start to take her place among the nations seeking a clean, or if not clean, then cleaning environment

Greenhouse emissions do not poison people, or lakes or woods, in the direct or obvious way that noxious chemicals do. But at least in the medium term, they clearly alter the earth in ways that harm the welfare of all and the poor more than the affluent.

One relatively clean energy technology cited as a possible stop-gap while renewable energy sources can be fully developed is nuclear power. It is the rich industrialized countries like France, Sweden, Japan (and many others) who are the biggest users of nuclear energy. Although new nuclear technologies reduce the problem of nuclear waste-management, and make it much more manageable, many in the west prefer to force oil-based energy use in oil-poor countries like India.

A method of cleaning technology is carbon sequestering of CO2. Carbon sequestering is obtained by chemically binding the CO2 in a material that will not dissolve in water or release CO2 with time. This eliminates the need to sequester pure CO2. IF the power generators sequester their CO2 they won’t need to buy carbon credits. Carbon credits have been called the modern day Papal indulgences for rich people. We don’t accept hypocrisy from our preachers, they say, so I don’t give eco-preachers an easy ride on this hypocrisy. Carbon credit administration is so bureaucratic and expensive that it is hard to justify perpetuating, on that basis alone, but in reality it will not bring us the cleaning environment we need and seek.

We talked about Nuclear energy as a part of cleaning the environment. Is it really so bad? It brings economic benefits from new jobs created to run new plants. It is like adding $500 million a year to the economy for each new plant brought on line. Nuclear currently accounts for about 20% of electricity generation in the UK. When all nuclear plants except Sizewell B in Suffolk are closed by 2020, the nuclear contribution will fall to some 4%. Many say that to burn coal would mean replacing this capacity would be a backward move and far from moving to a cleaning environment be the opposite.

Science doesn’t reveal the best course of human actions. It gives us information that is factored into decision making. Now the decision making needs to be that of guiding the scientists away from any technologies that are not sustainable and do not promote a cleaning environment.

Biology is the study of life and comprises all levels from the molecular to the global. Biology is the study living organisms, their organization and their functions and biology is a large part of the way our environment evolved from simple organisms and is thus intimately part of our environment. Biology is a very broad field, covering the minute workings of chemical machines inside our cells, to broad scale concepts of ecosystems and global climate change. Biologists study subjects which range from intimate details of the human brain, the composition of our genes, and even the functioning of our reproductive system to the building blocks of the simplest organisms on earth which created our oxygen rich atmosphere capable of supporting higher life forms. Without biological processes you and I would not exist, nor the planet as we know it.

Biological systems in contrast to physical are vastly more complex, their function based on small numbers of units (atoms, molecules, cells) that are not at equilibrium. There are no biological laws of nature the way we find them in physics; the first and second law of thermodynamics, Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle, Newton’s law of gravity etc.

The supreme importance of the role of biology in environment can be seen if we consider biotechnology. Biotechnology, as Aldous Huxley foresaw in Brave New World (1932), can usher in as profound a revolution as industrialization did in the early 19th century. It will parallel vast other themes the expansion of artificial intelligence, the opening of the inner solar system to economic use, and much, much more.

Biologists tolerate a level of mystery in their work that would drive your average engineer or computer programmer crazy. Biologists can see that role of biology in environment has shaped our very nature and being. Just look at the human genome studies that have been done. The biologists have put together a complete rough draft of the human genome but they have little understanding of how those 40,000 or so genes work together and interact with our environment to make a human.

Biologists, geneticists, and doctors have had limited success in curing complex diseases such as cancer, HIV, and diabetes because traditional biology generally looks at only a few aspects of an organism at a time. Again, we would suggest that this is due to the role of biology in environment which is so complex that the unraveling of these interactions is only now beginning to be discovered.

Biological processes of course are consequences of physics and chemistry, which is why we require biology students to study the physical sciences. But organisms are also historical entities molded by their environment both physical and social, and that’s where the complexities arise.

Synthetic Biologists build artificial biological systems in an analogous way, using individual components such as single genes and enzymes for which the reactivity and the products formed are accurately known. Synthetic biology will catch up even faster when it appreciates role of biology in environment. Assembly of simple synthetic circuits using DNA fibers has been demonstrated.

Systems Biology is the application of mathematical/physical modeling to understanding the functions of biological processes. It describes a multi-component approach, combining theoretical modeling with real data about the interaction between genes and their products within the environment. Arising from this is the need to interpret large datasets of complex biological information. It seeks to integrate the knowledge derived from the study of individual components of cells to their performance as integral elements of cells, tissues and populations.

So, in summary we are suggesting that the role of biology in environment cannot be ignored at any level, nor could the reverse be true. Throughout evolution environment has influenced the development of biological systems which in their turn have fed back into the environment and changed the environment to the one in which we live today. The role of biology in environment is simply to have made the environment in which we all live our lives.

What kind of environment is the right environment for your business success? Are you someone who likes to work in a relaxed, calm, quiet environment, or someone who likes a more interactive, invigorating, exciting environment?

There is probably a range of environments you can put up with and get by in. But, have you ever thought about what kind of environment is optimal if you want to create success? Most of us haven’t thought about how our environment affects our business success. Instead, we’ve learned to adapt to less-than-favorable conditions, blaming our sagging energy, increased body aches, and decreased productivity on other factors.

The Effects of a Negative Environment

Psychologists and industrial engineers have long reported that a negative work environment adversely affects our health, sleep habits, interactions with people, sex life, tolerance levels, ability to cope, and ability to process new information.

The longer we are exposed to a negative environment, the more our productivity and success decrease. It also takes its toll on our psychological, emotional, and physiological well-being.

The problem is that researchers have not been able to come up with a single work environment that is best for everyone. Human beings are such a complex, multifaceted group. It is impossible to take into account everyone’s changing needs to create a work environment that is ideal for every individual.

Whether you work from the comfort of your home as a solo preneur or go to work in an office building, it’s up to you to create the perfect environment for your business success. If not, you will find yourself gulping for air.

Are You Gulping For Air?

I have a small pond in my back yard. It’s a modest pond, home to five gold fish, two shubunkins, and two koi, Jack and Casper. It’s a peaceful little pond where birds and deer come to drink and neighborhood cats come with high hopes. There are benches nearby for quiet reflection, and the beauty of nature surrounds.

Not too long ago, the pond wasn’t so peaceful. We were in the middle of a heat wave when I went out to feed my fish. Much to my surprise and alarm, all the fish were at the surface of the pond bunched together and gulping for air. I could see they were in distress, though I didn’t know why. Until . . . I dipped my hand into the pond and felt the temperature of the water. It was very warm.

I immediately flew into action and began pumping warm water out of the top of the pond while simultaneously adding cold water to it. Within a couple of hours the water temperature had stabilized and my fish were back to swimming tranquilly around the pond.

When you are working in an environment that is detrimental to you, you soon end up like my fish on that hot day. You end up gulping for air. Gulping for air leaves us exhausted, depleted, and in desperate need of relief. We’ve all had times when we have felt as if we were just barely making it, scarcely holding it all together, and stressed beyond our limit.

Are you gulping for air? Here are some ways to know.

Top 10 Ways to Tell If You Are Gulping For Air

1. You’re too busy for your family and friends.

2. You do a lot of explaining about why you are so busy.

3. You find yourself just trying to keep your head above water.

4. You’re feeling unheard, misunderstood, and devalued.

5. You’re feeling overwhelmed.

6. You’re caught up in the drama of your business.

7. You’re still at work in your head after you’ve physically left your office.

8. You’re making do by making excuses.

9. You’re not sleeping, exercising, or eating to your benefit.

10. You’re emotionally maxed out.

What do you do if you find yourself gulping for air?

3 Steps to Creating Your Ideal Environment

1. The first thing to do is acknowledge where you are.

2. The second is to create some space to move around. Whether that be actual physical space (like taking a walk) or psychological and emotional space (such as meditating, journaling, or reading a book for pleasure), it’s important to create space.

3. Next, go within and ask, “What environment is in my highest good and greatest well-being right now?” This one question will open up even more space for you to begin creating the perfect environment for your personality, needs and goals.

You will know what that right environment is because in it you will feel expansive, open, allowing, and inviting. You will feel as if you have plenty of room to explore, maneuver, and swim around. You will have time for family, friends, and for yourself. You will thrive, flourish, and prosper.

Why merely put up with or get by in your environment? Instead, stop gulping air and focus on creating just the right environment for your business success.

How a positive spin is great on protecting the environment and experiencing life to the fullest while embracing the power of nature.

Centuries have passed while putting a positive spin on protecting the environment.

First and foremost, you’d want to prevent fires. especially forest fires by keeping it green from classic to elegant for industries that built our towns, communities and cities. Although, they say that coal, timbers, and glass all have played an important role into what we have begun and what we have to offer.

However, the beauty has evolved through towns and people have always sought new heights into protecting the environment to the highest point amidst the beauty by putting a positive spin on it. Meaning: high peaks and the highest point in the environment. So you’d want to make it a phenomenal view for nature watching in order to plan vacations and relax. first, you would have to keep everything right next to where you’d want to record everything happening in the environment to just keeping it fresh and clean.

You’d also want to multi-surface and multi-task. although, it’s a known fact that fresh plants make your environment gloomy and dreary and you wouldn’t want to leave the environment in perils. so, you’d definitely want to reshape the environment and just wouldn’t want to wait another minute for a bad look to come about.

However, putting a signature spin on protecting nature which changes a lot especially if someone else is trying to put negative spins on everything else around it because everyone knows that each winter blasts that we have, usually blankets the country and throughout the whole Tri-state area. Although, people have made too many priorities that weren’t kept when dealing with the environment.

for instance: Wintery precipitation is like this: how you pick your car, is like picking a crop and like paving away from what is reality and what’s not reality.

The cattle: Thinking of the cattle, farms, and crops you’ll need fresh crops with finishing touches on everything else around you in order to build the economy for consumer rights.

With tree recycling: You should remove all dead branches meaning you’ll need to landscape.

The mountains: Mountains make it an awesome place on the planet spectacular and want to explore the amazing outdoors and surroundings and you’d want to be able to enjoy the great outdoors in order to be able to have it where the animals and birds can breathe and run around.

However, having a positive spin on protecting the environment is a spirit of adventure with a bold new attitude and determination with a spiritual eloquence almost like a land of enchantment with the whole palm springs look which brings modern ingenuity. however, its a place where people might want to have a positive look on protecting the environment to where you can grow and maintain fresh crops in order to eat great and make the environment a special place to discover.

Although, a changing environment will continue to affect people in many different parts of the world in unique ways and statistics on the environment provides an excellent way for us to determine whether the environment is improving or worsening. humans are treating the environment better or worse than they have done in the past.

Although, pollution, hazardous waste, and many other environmental problems usually creates a major health threat for people around the world which is an environmental health organization that works with agencies in the developing world to try to eradicate harmful diseases. we can also make significant strides to improve the planet that we share by doing this.

VIP: We should recycle

-eliminate the use of electrical appliances for things that you can easily do by hand.

-Use cold water in the washer whenever possible

-don’t ever leave water running needlessly

-flush the toilet less often

-recycle cans, bottles, paper bags and definitely, recycle your christmas tree.

And last, but not least: teaching children t respect nature and the environment.

If we don’t do these steps and teach our children to do those things involving the environment and our surroundings and then we wouldn’t have a positive spin and it would continue to leave a negative spin on the world.

There are several factors you need to look into when it comes to how to stay positive in any working environment.

In order to work on your positive attitude in your work environment, you need to look into

the work environment, then you have to look into

self change perspective of things and finally

how you can influence your environment.

Below you will find some thoughts for these three areas, and some points to remember as you go along to create a positive work environment and be a positive element within it yourself.

1. Work Environment

You should beware of the 4 challenge areas in your working environment

A. Negative Work Environment

B. Other People’s Behavior

C. Changing Environment

D. Determinism Theory

A. Negative Work Environment

You probably have heard these comments in your everyday working environment.

Everyone fighting to get ahead

No one appreciates your contributions

Too much work . . . not enough help

Deadlines are unrealistic

Longer hours . . . additional work

Budget Constraints

Competition is eating us alive

You need to see through these comments and seek solutions to them in stead of seeking the problem itself and dwell with it.

B. Other People’s Behavior

There are several human types in your environment, and you will find every one of them in your environment. Just beware of them, listen to them, but try to solve the problem by being proactive and defuse these behaviors.

Complainers

Gossips

Whiners

Negatives

Backstabbers

Controllers

If you can manage these human types in your work environment, you are a long way to experience and get a more positive work environment.

C. Changing Environment

CHANGES does lots of things with you as and individual and you should be aware of these, such as;

Challenges our paradigms

Alters the way we think

Makes life more difficult for a while

Causes Stress

Is an ongoing fact of life

D. Determinism Theory

There are several statements that gives reason to the behavior amongst humans within your organization, as well as your own thinking. Just reflect over these three types;

GENETIC: My Grandparents did it to me. (Inherited traits)

PSYCHIC: My Parents did it to me. (Upbringing)

ENVIRONMENTAL: My Spouse, my Boss, the Company, the Economy, etc.. is doing this to me. (Surroundings)

2. Self Change

First I would like you to dwell on Life’s Little Question

“Are some people just born positive thinkers . . . or is it their CHOICE?”

You should take on the protective Armor against challenges which actually Comes from SELF CHANGE

Change 3 Things!

A. Attitude

B. Thinking

C. Behavior

A.Attitude

You have to ask yourself, How to Change Your Attitude?

Is it possible to change, or is the answer as you may hear lots, I can not change who I am, you have to accept me as I am. My answer to this is, it is possible to change, but Changes happen personally from the INSIDE OUT!

So . . . Accept Responsibility

I am responsible . . .

 . . . for who I am

 . . . for what I have

 . . . for what I do

Step #2 Take Control

Ownership

Values

Mission

Discipline

ALL THESE THINGS – FROM THE INSIDE . . . OUT!

How to Change Your Thinking

Changes come from observing logically in every situation

Observe Your Thinking

- Identify Your Negative Thoughts And Triggers

- Observe Your Negative Thoughts Objectively

Do not think like this;

I’m not going to be able to do this?

This will not help me!!

I’m unworthy

Manage Your Self-Talk

If you think you Can, or you think you Can’t…YOU’RE RIGHT! Henry Ford

- Focus on managing your Negative thoughts, not eliminating them

- Learn to argue with yourself

- Stop It!!

Think like this;

With some help this can be done

I will benefit from this experience

B. Behavior

How to Change Your Behavior

Changes take true assessment, determination & discipline
